We make videos for websites and social media including drone footage.

Hello. I’m Paul, a Lancashire Videographer who turned my passion for making videos into a business with the formation of Siteflight that originally started with a drone, but now make videos for websites and social media both from the air and from the ground to help promote businesses online.

Why do I need a video?

We think that even after a hard day at work, people will still sit and watch a video where it can help show your current or potential clients your business or brand at a glance and looks great when playing at the top of a Facebook Page, like we have. Videos are also powerful when posted on social media especially when shared in Groups / Forums around the world that can create awareness and generate additional publicity for your business at a global level.

Aerial or drone footage

But if all you want is some drone photography or some aerial shots to include in your video, we can do this too where safe & legal, as we hold a PfCO from the CAA and are fully insured. We have an aerial work page where we discuss this in more detail.

The benefits of video

Videos can let your customers know about your business at a glance. They don't require navigating or scrolling so are ideal for mobile devices through which most people browse the internet.

In addition, search engines love video which means that a video on a website will potentially rank higher on their search engine. Why? Consumers are demanding more and more video so the search engines are responding accordingly. A video in a blog for example means that it is three times more likely to attract inbound links than without, which in turn gives a signal to Google, for example, that you deserve to rank higher! That sounds good to us.

What can Siteflight do for me?

We have made videos for the hospitality industry, the construction industry, the property market, the service industry, retail sector and entertainment industry. Each video we are commissioned for presents its own unique challenge which keeps things interesting and keeps us on our toes meaning no two days are the same. But regardless of genre, we believe that all of the work we produce should be both interesting and entertaining for the viewer no matter what the subject matter. At the end of the day the video that we produce for you is in essence an advert. And depending on how that advert is used, depends on how successful it is going to be for you.

How does the video process work?

Working with you, we can agree on a concept for the video beforehand if you want. You might also have seen videos online that you like the style of which we are always happy to look at to ensure that your final video is what you are looking for.

We a plan to work to the next stage is to visit the site to record the video footage at a mutually convenient time bearing in mind that both light and the weather plays an important role in order to make your video look at its best. In addition we can't stress enough how important the environment in which the footage is to be recorded is, as the camera picks up a lot of detail that might detract from the main focus of the scene. We discuss this further at the bottom of our video portfolio page.

Once recorded, back at the computer we'll decant and review the footage and start the editing process, choosing and adding text if specified, spending time looking for and adding copyright free or licensed music if required, perhaps sound effects or a professional voice over if required (even cheaper if a clients decides that they will do this!) with the final product being delivered via a download link due to the size of the file.
